Robert Tyler is the Founding Partner at Tyler Law, LLP and has practiced for over twenty-two years as an attorney with a heavy focus on real estate, business, asset protection and constitutional law. Prior to entering law school at the University of San Diego, Robert was a commercial real estate agent with the RB Allen Group where he focused on multi-tenant office and industrial properties. As a real estate attorney, he has handled extremely complex transactions and litigated numerous real property and business cases. Robert is a current California Real Estate Broker (Broker ID# 00982333), member of the California Association of Realtors and a member of the National Association of Realtors. Tyler Law, LLP serves as legal counsel to numerous Realtor® associations, developers, brokerages, escrow companies, investment companies and contractors. Robert recently completed a term as a City Planning Commissioner for the City of Murrieta. He is also certified mediator with the American Arbitration Association and served as an adjunct professor for the University of Redlands where he taught Business Law for its MBA program. Robert Tyler has been featured in American Lawyer and The Daily Journal, two prominent trade magazines. On numerous occasions, Robert has been called on to comment and be interviewed by local, national, and international media outlets. He has been a featured guest on Fox News, MSNBC, TBN, PBS and has had many of his cases covered in the national media. Robert is a committed father and husband who enjoys coaching football, going on mission trips, and traveling with his family. He and his family attend Calvary Chapel Murrieta.
Admitted to the California State Bar in 1977, John honed his skills on transactions and litigation in real estate, business, and employment law. Currently, his practice is focused on real estate and business law. He represents several REALTORS® Associations with membership exceeding 30,000 REALTORS®. He also advises brokerage firms, business entities, and owner brokers, agents, homeowners, and developers.
His diverse background in real estate, business law, litigation, land use, contract law, corporate law, business strategic planning, and the preparation of real estate and business transactional documents enables him to provide effective representation and thorough legal advice to his clients on a wide range of matters.
John is a former trial attorney and serves as a mediator and arbitrator. John has has also served as an expert witness for numerous entities, including the United States Attorney’s Office. He has been called on to testify regarding real estate brokers’ and agents’ fiduciary duties as well as other real estate-related topics.
As a respected speaker, John also conducts various classes and seminars and is the keynote speaker at REALTOR® association and brokerage events. He writes articles and news letters on hot topics in real estate for both association newsletters and Tyler Law’s Courtside Newsletter. He is a former instructor for the Professional Realty Institute (GRI) and administers several REALTOR® associations’ Professional Standards Departments.
John started The Giardinelli Law Group, APC, where he developed an outstanding reputation as a lawyer serving REALTORS® Associations and professionals in the real estate community. He transitioned his firm into Tyler Law, LLP in 2018 and currently serves “Of Counsel” to Tyler Law.
John and his wife, Kristy, have two children, Erica and Bryan, as well as two grandchildren. Family is a priority to John and Kristy. John enjoys traveling the world, SCUBA diving, and water skiing.
